LOVE FROM A PURE HEART
1 Timothy 1:5
Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,
Personal Challenge
Paul has commanded Timothy to stand firm in his faith and to not be swayed by odd doctrines that distract from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. In his day, as in ours, there were many who were touting their own interpretations and teachings about the gospel. This was causing division in the church. Timothy, as are we, was reminded to follow Paul's commandment to teach the truth in a spirit of love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and a sincere faith. we cannot go wrong living this way. Lord, have mercy! Lord, have mercy! Lord, have mercy!
