Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth,
A door of enclosure about my lips.
Personal Challenge...
Throughout the history of mankind the spoken word has been able to both build up and destroy. All through the scripture I am reminded to watch what comes out of my mouth and more importantly the state of my heart, which drives my thoughts and words. I believe this is even more critical today as I have social media available to me to speak out in a much more detached and anonymous way. Am I building others up? Am I speaking God's truth in love? Am I encouraging and supporting others? God have mercy on me a sinner.
