LIVING AT PEACE
James 3:17-18
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Encouraging Words
If we are pursuing Christ and growing in righteousness then we will be people who sow the seeds of peace and make peace wherever we go. This means that we do not engage in divisiveness. We are not at odds with those who think differently, whether politically, religiously, socially, or any other way. How can we get to this place? By receiving God's wisdom from above, He gives us that wisdom and it is pure, peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, the sinner!
