Personal Challenge...
Why is it that those of us who are set free from the bondage of sin continue to sin? It is not because of Adam, or because of our nature, or that the devil makes us do it. It is because we choose the things of this world and the temporary pleasures that they give us over the things of God and the eternal rewards that they lay up for us. It is our choice that betrays us. However, by the grace of God, the work of Christ, and the gift of the Holy Spirit, we can choose to say, "No!" to sin and live a righteous and holy life. This takes work and persistence, but the results are far better than the other option. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner!
