IMITATORS
Ephesians 5:1-2
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Personal Challenge
"Be imitators of God as dear children." One of my fond memories of my children, when they were young, was how they tried to imitate me. The loved me and looked up to me, wanting to be like me. This was very humbling to me and reminded me of how much responsibility I bore as a parent. Isn't this what God wants from us? He wants us to come to Him as innocent children, looking up to Him, and desiring to be like Him. And, what is it that He wants us to imitate? His love! Glory be to God!
