WORKING OUT OUR SALVATION
Philippians 2:12-13
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Personal challenge
It is clear in the scriptures that we are saved only by God's grace and mercy through the Work of our Lord Jesus Christ. But our salvation does not stop there. We are to be spending the remainder of our lives working out our own salvation by living for Christ, pursuing Him, and striving to be like Him. This is a process and our God is active in this process working within us. Glory be to God!
